Emma Helbo is based in Copenhagen and serves as Head of External Relations & Communication at Denominator, the leading provider of social and diversity data on private and public companies worldwide. Denominator empowers institutional investors, supply chain managers, and corporate leaders to integrate social considerations into decisions-making trough advanced analytics based on granular and holistic raw data, scores, and ratings.

She drives go to market strategies with clients and leads communication and media partnerships with organizations such as Moody’s Ratings, Forbes, Responsible Investor, Financial Times, collaborating on research, rankings, news, and thought leadership. Emma has spoken on diversity-related panels covering investments, wealth, supply chains, and leadership at key industry events, including the Equality Lounge and Nordic FinTech Week.

Emma holds a master’s degree in political science from Aarhus University and co-authored “A rise in the prominence of business? The political role of corporations in Denmark over two decades”, a peer-reviewed article in Scandinavian Political Studies. She previously worked with public affairs for EU policy in Brussels and global trade and investments in Copenhagen for Danish Industry. Emma has origins in Vietnam and was adopted at the age of two and has a sister from China. She lives and breathes the Founder’s Mentality and truly believes it starts with ‘why’.
