Technology Policy Analyst
Joshua Stein is the Technology Policy Analyst at the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), a role where he will focus on analyzing key technology policy issues, including AI, privacy, and competition law, conducting in-depth research and writing for expert and general audiences as part of SIIA’s Policy Fellowship Program.
Joshua writes on technology, public policy, and economics for a range of national and international policy organizations, including the Atlantic Council and Center for European Policy Analysis. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Calgary and M.A. degrees in Bioethics and Science and Technology Studies from New York University. Prior to joining SIIA, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Georgetown Institute for the Study of Markets and Ethics.
