Sr. Business, Development Manager – Asia Pacific, AWS Data Exchange, Amazon Web Services

Arun Prasad is responsible for business development of AWS Data Exchange (ADX) in Asia across industry categories. This is a purpose driven role to help clients gain insight through data and technology. In addition to his role in AWS, Arun is actively involved with the capital markets industry as a speaker and moderator at industry events.(FISD, FIX Conference, Trade Tech).

Prior to AWS, Arun was with Refinitiv/LSEG , serving as Sales Director for South Asia & Head of Market Development for FX & Enterprise data business for ANZ and ASEAN region.

Arun started his career with Deutsche Bank in Japan building market risk models across asset classes. He then joined Citigroup and worked in Japan and Australia to lead Electronic

Connectivity across Asia for 8 years. In 2010 Arun joined Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong to serve as Head of Product Development for Electronic Connectivity for Asia-Pacific. In this role Arun was responsible for product and business development of high-frequency trading algorithms and trade execution.

Throughout his 20+ years career, Arun has enjoyed building new products and business lines while innovating on behalf of clients.

In addition to his professional career, Arun is an Asian history aficionado and spends his weekends practicing his cricket bowling skills in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia.
