David Hunter is the Director of CGS Licensing & Client Solutions at CUSIP Global Services (CGS), where he manages CGS’s global compliance program and leads a team in charge of licensing CGS’s commercial services in the Americas. In this capacity, David and his team are among the first to identify emerging trends, challenges, and common use cases, some of which have become industry best practices.

David regularly interacts with industry participants who want to gain access to a CGS product or service, either directly or through one of CGS’s authorized third-party data vendors. In this role, David cultivates and maintains strong relationships with banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, market authorities, and third-party data vendors to ensure that appropriate solutions are implemented.

David began his career in 1988 as an Analyst in the Standard & Poor’s Securities Evaluations group and has since held a variety of roles in the financial services industry, including fund accountant and equities trader, before returning to FactSet Research Systems Inc. (formerly operated by S&P Global) in 2008 to work for CGS.

David spends his free time with his wife, two children, two dogs, and enjoys golf, running, and other fitness activities.
