Elizabeth (Beth) Green is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tulsa-based Brief Media, a media company that services veterinary professionals, both domestic and global via print, online, and on-demand channels.

A 2016 Folio Top Women in Media, 2019 Gertrude Crain Award winner, and 2020 Feather in Her Hat Award winner, Green is a skilled strategist, product developer, marketer, and sales executive focused on advertising and data products, which led Brief Media to exceptional growth during its 19 years in business. Clinician’s Brief, now the Official Practice Journal of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association, launched in November 2002 and has been voted MOST ESSENTIAL by small animal veterinarians in the US for 11 consecutive years.


Green’s leadership at Brief Media focuses on development of quality products for the veterinary profession, including the award-winning Plumb’s Therapeutic Brief, Veterinary Team Brief and Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs. In 2014 Green formed a partnership with Donald C. Plumb, PharmD, to launch the digital adaptation of his indispensable resource, Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs ultimately purchasing the rights in 2018, subsequently growing subscriptions eight-fold in six short years.

The Brief Media mission of a better veterinary world extended in 2016 through a partnership with Mission Rabies that vaccinated over 35,000 dogs in Malawi, Africa that first year in an effort to profoundly reduce human mortality caused by this dreaded disease. Green was nominated for Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) 2018 Global Citizen of the Year award for her work in helping to transform the world by eradicating rabies.

Green resides in Tulsa, Okla and married Jeff Allen in 2021. She has two children, Ryan and Erin, from her marriage to Eric Green. Together, she and Jeff have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
