Managing Director and Global Head, Direct Private Investments

Direct Private Investments (DPI) is a new program aimed to capture and deepen our relationships with the Private Bank’s most sophisticated clients globally. In his capacity, Itay leads the Private Bank’s efforts to curate direct and co-investment deals to institutional private clients, and serves as the global nexus of all private transaction sourcing, management, and distribution.

Prior to joining Citi, Itay was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank where he was responsible for building and managing Morgan Private Ventures, the direct deals and co-investments platform of JPM’s Private Bank. Itay was also a partner in J.P. Morgan’s Junius Real Estate Partners, and a key contributor to building the Highbridge and Gavea funds. Prior to that, Itay was an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis, as well as at Debevoise & Plimpton. Itay has personally been involved in various health and wellness related ventures over the past ten years. He is an Advisory Board member of Sakara Life and a member
of Caravan Wellness. Itay served on the Board of Directors for the UJA Federation. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
