Global Head of ETFs, RIMES Technologies

John Lanaro is the Global Head of ETFs at RIMES and brings more than a decade of experience specializing in ETF data management on both the vendor and sell-side. John is an expert in requirements gathering, development, and implementation of technology solutions for the buy-side including Delta One, swaps and other derivatives trading. Prior to joining RIMES, John was part of the ETF Risk Technology and Strategy teams at Morgan Stanley; a key contributor towards the shift in automating the trading of ETFs. As a member of the Risk Technology team at Morgan Stanley, John enabled the ETF and Delta One trading desks to decompose risk exposure across multi-asset class products and ETF issuers. On the ETF strategy team, he was responsible for building accurate ETF composition data for iNAV calculations to support the market making desk
