Chief Operating Officer, CIX 

Mark is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Climate Impact X (CIX) and leads the corporate functions to support CIX’s vision of building a global marketplace and exchange for quality carbon credits. His role spans Legal, Risk, Finance, HR, Operations and Finance.  

Mark joined CIX from TransAsia Private Capital Limited, where as COO, he was a member of the investment committee and was responsible for the non-investment aspects of the Funds. He was responsible for establishing the Singapore Office as well as serving as the Director and Authorized Representative.  

Prior to TransAsia. Mark served as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Alphadyne Asset Management, responsible for defining and implementing the strategic development and institutionalization of its organizational framework for the Asian Fund.  

Prior to working in the Alternative Asset Management space, Mark held various executive positions with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase Bank and DBS, including Head of Counterparty Risk, Head of New Products, Asia Deputy COO and implementing strategic programs.  

Mark graduated from the University of Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
