Mike Shimerda is Director Strategic Partnerships at Vista Equity Partners-owned 7Park Data. Moving from trading to focus on data 8 years ago, Mike joined Bloomberg in 2013, taking an enterprising approach to expanding financial markets in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, which led to managing multiple asset classes across Asia. Building on a whirlwind two years launching Bloomberg’s alternative data platform aggressively sourcing data partners for the new marketplace, Mike joined 7Park Data to fully explore the product potential of alternative data. With products targeted to multiple verticals such as Finance, Corporate, CRE, and Media and Entertainment, quality data partnerships remain core to the success of the business.
