SVP Product and Sales Support – Europe, Ticksmith

Senior leader for FinTech organizations creating Cloud based solutions for both real time and Big Data Analytics capabilities to revolutionize product lines and development organizations. Joined Ticksmith in 2019 as part of the company’s strategy to grow its product line and presence in Europe, Peter is the Senior Vice President Sales and Product Europe. Prior to Ticksmith Peter had worked for 34 years at Reuters/Thomson Reuters/ Refinitiv in a range of technology and product leadership roles in US, Singapore, Switzerland and UK. Successfully leading Organizational Change across product management and development organizations delivering year on year productivity savings. Peter was involved in delivering Future Technology Platforms – built new Real-time and Analytic Products (“Elektron and Tick History”) for the financial industry and validated them with Tier 1 banks. He ensured entire cradle-to-grave lifecycle management of products, u sing latest technology advances in Cloud Computing and ultra-low latency, high availability networking. Peter created a Strategic View – 5-year TR Financial Enterprise strategic plan covered M&A opportunities, Product Development and technology “Move to Cloud”. He built great teams – involving global and diverse leadership of engaged and forward-thinking SMEs (based in UK, US, Singapore and Switzerland). Peter supported and mentored teams to grow diversity and drive career progression. He led Thomson Reuters Swiss R&D function, working with internal teams and academia to demonstrate to senior leaders the art of the possible and how to move ideas into product strategy.
