Sales Manager for Latin America, Fenics Market Data (BGC Partners)
Robert Scharringa is responsible for Fenics Market Data, BGC Partners´ market data division, in Latin America. He has over 25 years of experience working with the financial industry, having held different roles in product development, sales and management within several leading companies in the market data and solutions industry. Robert initiated and led Bloomberg´s efforts in product development and content acquisition throughout the Latin American region, managed the Brazilian sales team and built out the Enterprise business in South America and the UK. He also worked in Thomson Reuters´ (now LSEG Refinitiv) Solutions division as well as at Fidessa/ION Group, where he was responsible for the overall business in Latin America. He has a BSM degree with a concentration in Finance from Tulane University.
