Tim Richards is the CEO for Hoptroff, a technology scale-up, with overall responsibility for leading global expansion for the timing solutions provider.
Before being named CEO in February 2022, Tim was Hoptroff’s chief operating officer, with responsibility for guiding the business at an operational and strategic level including partnerships with BT Radianz and leading hardware provider Orolia, and R&D projects with Innovate UK.
A technologist with more than 30 years’ global media experience, he has launched and run media businesses all over the world, in markets as diverse as Saudi Arabia, Poland, Japan, India and South America. Tim brings an
understanding of the complex workflows, systems, technologies and practises required to run and scale the technology company of today.
Prior to joining Hoptroff, Tim has held international C-level roles at blue-chip organisations such as Disney, Hallmark and QVC.
